Who is Diabolical D3vil?

Diabolical D3vil, often shortened to “Devil” or “D3vil”, is a male voice actor (VA) who creates NSFW and Safe for Work roleplay audios, typically made for women. His first audios were published on Reddit in April of 2023, and his first safe for work audios were published on YouTube in June of 2023. He has created over 500 distinct audios since his debut. He does a wide variety of characters, ranging from older male figures, to the “ASMR boyfriend”, to fantasy creatures. His audios have been listened to over 1.2 million times by people around the world.

Character Lore

D3vil is a benevolent trickster, a powerful entity who protects his friends and allies, and takes care of those who show kindness to others. Though he first appeared dressed similar to Leon Kennedy back in 2023, he can take different forms—from cuddly to sadistic to amicable and charming. He has different aspects, he has lived many different lives. Legend says his human form is in his 50s, though many people swear they perceive him as different ages. D3vil is headstrong, idealistic, and strong-willed. Many people say he is protective, or even paternal to his friends.

No one knows where D3vil originally came from, though some rumors speculate his spirit has lived in many different eras throughout time. One thing the historians all agree on is that D3vil is deeper than his façade leads the uninitiated to believe. He takes orders from no one and shows up for battles he feels strongly about.

Whatever the truth is—and that is for each person to decide—for every detail of his lore that is revealed, there are more questions that are asked. Shrouded in mystery, the Diabolical One enjoys making people feel emotions and sensations more deeply than they ever have before.

Where Did D3vil Come From?

I found ASMR roleplay channels on YouTube before I found NSFW voice acting on Reddit and Patreon. Like most people who do spicy voice acting, I was a listener at first. After a short while, I realized I could do this too. I didn’t have any expectations or any thoughts about how far my voice could spread. I was making audios to relieve my own tension, to satisfy an exhibitionist craving, and for a few people to hear. (Which they did, hehe). The longer I was in the greater spicy voice acting scene, the more I learned about how it worked, and the more I wanted to challenge my voice acting abilities. That one year of Drama class in high school is paying off!

I still make audios for my own amusement, and maybe one to three people at a time. I still get a chuckle out of knowing the audios reach their intended destination, and I’m beyond happy with the community I’ve managed to cultivate.

Like many people who enter NSFW voice acting, the underlying catalysts for finding this space are personal, the art of creating something that so many people can relate to and enjoy gives me great happiness and satisfaction. I’m blessed to be able to share my stories with you and I hope you enjoy them to the fullest.

Where Did D3vil’s Name Come From?

When I created this persona, I wanted something memorable, so I decided an alliterative name would be best. Y’know, something like a comic book character would have (i.e. Peter Parker, Lois Lane, Otto Octavius, etc.) Part of this name came from another online persona I had long ago, and I’ve always been a devilish person, in the best type of way, so I became Diabolical D3vil. I made part of the name a “3”, like in leet-speak, just so people would be able to find this name via online search and it would be unique. – D3vil

What Does it Mean to be Diabolical?

Webster’s Dictionary has this to say about the adjective:

diabolical (adjective): of, relating to, or characteristic of the devil : extremely evil.

In English, “diabolical” has many nuances of meaning. It can describe the devil himself (as in “my diabolical visitor”) or anything related to or characteristic of him in appearance, behavior, or thought.

What Does D3vil Want His Legacy to Be?

I want people to remember my voice acting, and I want people to feel something. There are lots of VA’s of every gender that get typecast in certain roles, and I want people to think I am more than one character. I’d also love people to remember me as someone who really tried to connect to people through audios, and someone who created a safe place to experience, feel, think deeply, and process feelings. If you need an encouraging word, if you want to explore your darkest fantasy, or anything in between, I want to be capable of that, and give you an experience that is personally transformative.

Lastly, I want people to know I never take a single day for granted, and I never expected to reach as many people as I have. I’m so happy my audios have resonated with and inspired so many people. That means so much to me. Thank you so very much. – D3vil
